Edmund: Welcome to Swamp Talk, a brand new kind of show on the
Internet. I'm Edmund Alligator and I'll
be your host. I'm here to bring you the latest news from the beautiful Florida
Everglades. For my first broadcast I have a very special guest, my friend Hector the Crocodile. Hector comes all the way from the
Gulf of Mexico. Hi Hector, how was the swim?
Edmund: You crocodiles are always giving alligators a bad rap. Hector: Yeah, I don't see how they can confuse a stubby snout like yours with a sleek nose like mine. Edmund: They must be blind if they can't see all those snaggly bottom teeth sticking out of your mouth. 'Least I have a nice clean sharp top row. Hector: Yeah, nice clean row, except for the tooth you broke off when you bit into that log when you were two. Hector: Not bad, amigo. I hung onto the bottom of one of those big
tourist boats and it pulled me all the way up here. At the pier, I burst out of
the water and gave the tourists a big wide crocodile smile. Can you believe it
? They all screamed, "Alligator! Alligator!"
